All of them are out of PCGS 4 slabs and each one is a different color. I didn't crack the slabs myself, I'm just trying to acquire as many different colors as I can.
Only 1 and it's a PCI, but soon there will be a couple PCGS. I've found that in certain cases it's cheaper to by a slabbed coin via eBay vice a raw coin from the local coin show. So I'll be cracking out a couple for my raw 20th century type set album.

Geez, I was going to admit to being late in retuning 3 or 4 inserts and then selecting one of those embarassed emoticons. But after reading the other responses I am not embarassed!
I do think we should send them back in. I think it is in the interest of the hobby to have a reasonably accurate census.
Back in the early days 1986-1987 the grading services used to offer registered dealers 50c -75c per insert for returning them. As I recall about 1992 they changed the policy and most dealers stopped sending them in. Of course in the last decade the pop reports, while useful tools are not as exact due to the tremensous amount of crack outs that have been resubmitted without returning the inserts.
If all the colletors and dealers would return these worthless peices of paper back to the respective services you would be surprised at how rare some coins might be. The reality is that an actual low pop coin shows, in some cases 3x the actual pops.
If the pops were reduced to reflect the real story coins some could in theory be worth more based on rarity. Just a thought.

Probably 100-200 for PCGS/NGC. I've got maybe 20-30 ANACS, but within the last year I returned 100+ to them.
I've also got some PCI, SEGS, ICG (they give credit for them, but since I have no intention of sending a coin to them, I've just kept them), and maybe even an ACG here or there.
Lets ask David Hall tomorrow if he would consider free grading in exchange for PCGS inserts. Any amount over 5 gets a free grade etc...
That's just one step above collecting aluminum can pop tops.....get 1000 pop tops and you get a free t-shirt.
If grading companies didn't play games with their respective "standards" (i.e. conservative, liberal), then people would probably be less inclined to crack so many slabs. I crack slabs because I want to examine my coins. I don't want to look through scratched plastic and I want to examing the lettered edge on my bust half. Because the grading companies screw up so many grades, collectors and dealers have incentive for slab cracking. Too bad all of the overgrades seem to stay slabbed. My theory is that the population of overgraded coins in slabs grows every day. People keep sending coins in again and again until a coin overgraded and that's where it stops.
