Yep, that's what you're seeing. At least CAMS, may be DCAMs. The sets are on the way right now. With that much contrast showing through the celo, and with the concave nature of the bust - which when scanned straight on creates what look like frost breaks - I have high hopes for these pups.
good. the last thing i want is another sniper looking at the same coins as me. you with your laser-sighted AWP and me with my 56k musket. plus you have the nasty habit of making everyone else collect what you do. before you got here there was maybe 2 kennedy threads a month on this board. now i own rolls of the darn things.
jeffersons are just the unfortunate by-product of yanking the kennedy proof from the '64 set. remember i'm always here to dispose of them for you.
Russ - If you (or anyone else for that matter) are busting proof sets to get at certain coins (not the cent), I would like to have a shot at taking the cents off your hands - non-cameo, spotted, toned, whatever - doesn't matter. I'm in it for an entirely different reason.
Yep, they're coming from the same source. Non-coin guy who's selling off his Father-In-Law's small accumulation. There's also a 1962 and 1963 set in the group. Had to also buy those to get the two '64 sets. I'll probably just throw the two butt ugly halves from the earlier sets in the dumpster.

As far as Russ and 64 sets go... I don't think "luck" has much to do with it.

They're not on the way to PCGS, they're on the way to me. Just scored them today.

Those pics are a bit small. Could you send those to me for a closeup inspection?

baccaruda,
Nah. It had been a couple hours or so since I'd sniped anything, so I was starting to get withdawal symptoms. The auction was a cheap, handy fix.

When you hear the rumblings of dual pipes and when you look out your window and see a red 55 BelAir, I suggest you hide buddy!
