I'm sending over 100 of my coins off for grading and encapsulating.
Always curious what the internet eye is compared to real life.
I'll shoot up 6 coins, tell me what you think these coins will grade at and I'll keep track of
all guesses until I get them back, I'll post the results of the grading.
First one is an 1892-s Morgan
Sealed for the last 60 years - but not perfect.
To follow-
1890-cc Morgan from mint
18901-cc Morgan from mint (beautiful gold tone)
1921 Morgan
1945 half-dollar (my favorite - beautiful gold tone)
1964 copper nickel
Always curious what the internet eye is compared to real life.

The breast feathers seem to jump right off this bird.
1921 Morgan
Beautiful golden tone.
But, the internet scans are tough to judge, why I am doing this.
Good education for all....well for me anyway.
1945 half dollar
Why I am doing this. Pictures are deceiving.
The 1892-S doesnt have a spect of dirt on it. Was it cleaned?
Full luster. I'll be getting these back in 2 weeks.
<< <i>I'm going to say the 1892-S gets bagged for cleaning. Sorry. >>
I was thinking the same. As with the 1921. 1890-cc and 1891-cc could pass for a MS62 or 63. The Walker looks around a AU53/55.
Welcome to the boards and thanks for sharing the coins. Good luck with the submissions.
The 92-S has been cleaned from the way it looks, especially the reverse. (Sorry, no one likes to hear that)
90-CC I guess a 63.
91-CC ummmm.... 62 if it doesn't have wear.
21-P another 60!! I'd dip that thing!!!!! Has a few nicks on the cheek and other areas.
Walker - AU-55 Some wear on high points.
Maybe the lighting is just that hue?You use a bug lamp to light it?

xf detail, clnd
1890-cc
au+ (55)
1891-cc
au+ (53)
1921
tough call, if it's dark toning, ms-63, if it's dirt, au-55 due to cleaning
1945 half
au-50

But, I can't give away to much information. I want the educated guess from members
from just looking at the scans. In raw format it is a guess from the limits of the
picture.
I won't say if the 92-S was cleaned...or not.
Senfd them to ANACS rather than NTC...even with a net grade, you'll come out ahead.
