Roosevelt dime toned set progress report: 1960 NGC-MS67 purple and rainbow.

Today, I officially entered the 1960's with my toned Roosevelts. I did not expect to find a 1960
so nicely toned as a MS67 with nice toning. I believe that these will become more increasingly difficult
with time. Your thoughts?

1960 10C NGC-MS67 very nice toning.

Brian.

Very nice color, Brian. But that isn't a print on the reverse, is it?

I think it might be a fingerprint, either that or mottled toning, I like the coin regardless. I have been
a member of the major grading serivces finger print club for sometime.imageimage

hehe I was gonna bid on that but decided not to because of the print on the back. I did snag this one but got sniped on another one of his. I still have a bid outstanding on another, but it isnt really a toner, just some light color.

here is the one I lost. If I find that guy, I may have to smack him, thats the one I really wanted! image

The 58 is awesome, I guess I missed it, thats what happens when you come home from work late
    after doing grocery shoppingimage

  • Even if that is a print, Brian, I like it. Some printing on toned coins doesn't bother me. If it were a proof, that would be another story.

Gp, the 59P you lost was won by a Board member id = onlyroosies......and if you're going to lose to anybody, might as well be the guy that has the #1 set on NGC Registry - and he doesn't have a 1959P in MS68 and is probably hoping that pretty toned 59P is the "one". It looked real nice in spite of the so-so picture - I was tempted myself!

Sorry GP, I've had my sights on this one for a while. Does this one work for you instead.
