BTW's considering the low mintages. As I recall the replies
were not real positive to the coin. Why the popularity is
not there for this particular coin is a mystery to me.

The top one (blood red) is a 1948-S and it is currently for sale on eBay.
The bottom one (blue) is a 1946-S and it currently resides in my collection.
