Hello from the FUN Show!!!!

As some of you may have noticed, I've been 'off-line' for some time now. However, I'm back up and running and hope to be able to monitor the goings-on on the boards more frequently.

I just finished a long but enjoyable week here at the FUN Show. In a nutshell, this is the BEST show I've ever attended!!!!

My good buddy TONEDDOLLARS was my able assistant for the entire show and did a fine job. I was also able to meet for the first time a number of board members like ArtR, IrishMike, Morganluver, and others. Of course, I also saw a lot of old friends as well.

The abundance of material, the abundance of buyers and sellers, and the overall mood of the show were nothing like I've ever seen before. For those of you who have always considered attending but have never been able to make it, I strongly recommend this show for next year.

I am back from the show as well and as GSAGUY said, it was a great show with lots of activity. I too was able to meet some of the fine board members like GSAGUY and TONED DOLLARS, and also see some folks that I hadn't seen since the last show. My only regret was that I was not able to meet Tom B. I was there for a number of days but never seem to have enough time to do all the things I want to do or meet all the people I wanted to meet. The FUN show is the largest coin show in the world according to Randy Campbell(ANACS senior grader and Educational Chairman for FUN the last 25 yrs.) and is definately worth attending. Again, prices were strong for most coins and series including toned coins of all denominations. I wasn't able to buy as much as I would have liked, but still found a few "choice" pieces. It was a real pleasure meeting and talking with all of you and look forward to future meetings.
