What is the main coin you are seeking for your Registry set this year?

I am looking for a MS67FBL Franklin for my Modern Type set. mdwoods

After seeing the prices for some coins in yesterday and todays auction, these coins are probably no longer reachable by moi. At least not for my 20th Century Type set. I am going to abandon my 20th Century Type set. I will keep my other Registry sets, and hope that PCGS adds a Type set for each denomination coin. I would still like to do a Cent and Nickel type set.

The way things are looking in these auctions, I might not be able to afford any more!

I already got it... a NGC MS61 Quarter eagle 1911D. A great looking coin. I sent it to PCGS to see if it crosses, it will be gravy if it does (just allows me to register it), if it doesn't I still have a fantastic quarter eagle.

After that a 15S, 23S and 25S and it finishes the series but copper is going crazy and I might wait a year or two until prices level out (hopefully lower)

1964 Kennedy Half PR69DCAM. There will be some others too. I'd be happy with a nice example of that one to get things started.

Walkers, 1929-S is at the top of the list.

    Followed by a 1920, 1916 and 1916-S.

I go along with DPoole. The way prices have been going lately it will take awhile to save for a 21P,21D or 16D Merc Dime in the grade I want.

I'd like some capped bust coins. Need them all, half dime on up. Maybe a draped bust coin or two also. And I need that pesky pre-1925 type 2 SLQ. Then there are many varieties of the seated coins I also need.

    What I would like and what I can afford are 2 different things. I would like a nice MS67/68 1982-NO P, or a 1996-W MS69 dime.

    Later, Paul.

I picked up a Trade Dollar for my set yesterday, so I'm probably set for the year, except maybe grabbing some modern replacements that I had previously sold off.

On January 09, 2003, I said I wish I could buy "A nice AU58 1839 ND seated half dollar. PQ, of course." this year.

Indeed, I found one and bought it today. I will share the pictures with you when I receive it.

    pr70dcam Olympic half
    1982 pr70dcam 1c
    pr70dcam 5$ gold modern commem

I will try to make them myself... but odds are I wont be able to because i am not on the *in* with PCGS and I only submit about 10 coins a month.... so I will probably end up paying the over inflated prices to purchase them.
