Huge problem on ebay right now

I tried to bid on a couple of items and got a "web site not responding" Huge volume of auctions ending today from last Thursdays free listing day is probably causing this. Lots of coins are going cheap because of no last minute bidding. If I were a seller with stuff ending now I would be very pi$$ed to say the least.

If there are technical difficulties wouldn't they re-start the clock on the items that would've gone off during the down time? Seems like that would be the fair and logical thing to do.

Looks like the system is back up.

Edit: Make that part of the system is back up. Some functions are still dead.

At this point you can look but you can't bid. There are going to be a lot of unhappy sellers.

This SU*CKS! Ebay better have this fixed pronto.

I'm wondering it Ebay causes the time to elapse on an auction, do you have to end it while their system is down or will they put it back up with more time remaining - equal to the time their system was down.

Any prior experience with this sorta thing with Ebay?

When I listed my free auctions I paid the extra dime so they close on Sunday instead of today, I think it was well worth the dime to have them close Sunday instead of today with 10 million other auctions.
