Help - Eliasberg auction catalogs

I just finished reading the book Louis Eliasberg, King of Coins by Q. David Bowers. I received it as a Christmas gift and am interested in getting copies of the Eliasberg auction catalogs from the Bowers auction. They are the 1982 United States Gold Coin Collection sale and the (1996?) auction of the Eliasberg copper, nickel and silver coins. Does anyone know where I can find these?

Thanks!
Tom

The silver, copper and nickel were actually in two auctions - 1996 (thru dimes) and 1997 (double dimes and up). FANTASTIC MUST HAVES!

Of the literally dozens of auction catalogs I have received over the last 10 years of collecting, the two Eliasberg sales by Bowers and Merena (1996 and 1997) are ones I will never part with. They are unique unto themselves and an incredible resource.

    Singapore (and others),
I tried to send an e-mail to Karl Moulton at Numiscats@aol.com as referenced above but it was returned as a bad address. Does anyone have an accurate e-mail address for Karl?

    Thanks!

There are really THREE Eliasberg auction catalogs. There are the last two, which have already been cited, and there is the FRIST auction of the gold coins, which was called "The United States Gold Coin Collection." That sale was held October 17-29, 1982 by Bowers and Ruddy Galleries, Inc. The front of the auciton catalog is blue with a picture of a 1907 ultra high relief $20 gold in the center surrounded by red.

The collection was divided between two siblings. One got the gold and sold it quickly; the other got the rest and sold it years later.

I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
