    I have to admit, with obverses like these, my vote was for the bust type.

    However, I must also give respect to Mr. Franklin. It was his idea to strike medals to commemorate the Colonies' victories in the Revolutionary War, and the resulting medals were the very first incarnation of the Flowing Hair and Bust types. So we can either vote for Mr. Franklin himself, or for the progeny of his brilliance!

    My pleasure mrKelso, I just wish some bozo dealer did not write RARE & AU on this old holder from the 1940's (especially since the coin is only CH.XF) I prefer the fountain pen writing of the early die variety collector who used the Hazleton book for reference.
