Finally got my password to get on here. I have been watching and soaking up info for a while now. Learned a lot here. I have been detecting for a few years which finally lead to this hobby. I don't have any slabbed coins yet. I enjoy the raw beauty of a coin which makes it just as valuable as a slabbed one to me. Hope to learn lots more from you people.

    Thanks for the warm welcome. I currently have no specific coins that I am collecting....just all that I find appealing to my eye. If I had to say which I love most it would be any AU/BU Ike. I have only dug 2 sliver coins to date. I am currently in the Air Force so I hope there won't be any animosity between us SemperFI image

    Welcome. Get yourself a 20th Century Type set album and fill it up with XF/AU coins and you'll have a nice impressive collection to show off for around a couple hundred bucks. Plus, it may help you decide what else you may like to collect. Good luck and thank you for your service.

    If you all liked my dimes(which are the only ones I have) you should see my dug clad penny collection. The only proof I have is a 64 quarter and it was had for 3.50 at a local coin shop. Getting a few albums to fill is next on my list.
