No GMC -- On Vacation.

Here is to starting the New Year with fresh legs!

I have perhaps, over-reacted to some events around here, a short break, stiffening of the lip is called for, and then back into the breech!

Tally-ho!

Clankeye, I hope no one has suggested that your posts "pollute" the forum. image

To the contrary, your posts bring the very real issues to light in a very entertaining and humorous vain and IMO are very "coin" related.

Take time if you need it but please don't compare your posts with the real "pollution".

    Joe.
  • Clankeye,

As much as I appreciate, and look forward to, your weekly installments of the classroom... I was hoping that the events of this weekend would not become part of our "permanent record". image

I do have to wonder if there is a way we can just delete some of these poisonous threads instead of them always coming back to the top?

Collector, That is not coin related (but I would like to see that fashion show). image

The problem I have with the poison threads are not that they exist, but the number of people that complain about them and then post to them keeping them alive.

Just ignore them and they will go away all by themselves.

    Joe.

Amen to that! I see all the new members (presumably they're new) and I wonder what they must think. Also, if we portray this forum as being a brawl-fest, we're just going to attract more "insult-hurlers" who may join "just because they think it's cool to act that way." There are places on the internet where that type of behavior is encouraged, this should not be one of them.
