Just sent this 1896 indian cent to NCS

I just sent five coins to NCS and two were 1896 indian cents that I think were together since they were minted. I bought both from the same man and both have the same color and carbon spots not to mention they both appear to be struck from the same dies. A couple of years ago I sent both to ICG and they graded one MS63RB and bagged the other one that had one large spot and the one they graded had two spots smaller spots. Here's a picture of the one that got bagged. I'll post results when I find out how NGC graded them afterwards or at least I hope they make it that far. mike image

its a nice coin with great color...even with that small obverse carbon spot.

        Darktone,

Be sure and let us know how they do. I've sent them a bunch of silver, but I'm curious how they are with copper. I think it's probably much tougher.

      • It looks like a good test for NCS. Nice little indian and it will look even better if it finds a home in a NGC slab. Be sure to share the results when you get it back. Good Luck!
