Another EBAY over night Billionaire wanna be

Next Ebay Billionaire......lol.

Letter sent to seller on behalf of The American Numismatics Association.>>>>>

I think you are abusing your Ebay privileges let alone making bidders look asinine with your listing. Sell your coins and move on just like any other seller. No coin dealer would list anything as ridiculous as this. No offense, just a simple suggestion.

    EDITED TO SAY:

I just finished reading the auction. This person is giving these coins away, not selling them. Or, at least that is how I took it, so I do not see what the problem is.

Rampage, the seller says "The 555th person to bid on this set will get it free no matter how high it goes."

I take that to mean that there is no giveaway if there are fewer than 555 bidders. It looks bad to me!

CoinGuy1......okay, now I see it that way, too. It does kind of luck suspicious. And, at that price, all I can say is WOW!! I hope it goes to 555 bidders.
  • It seems like the sole purpose of his auction is to embarrass a buyer who left him a neutral! Imagine if he had gotten Neg'd! image

    Dan,

I think one purpose for the auction is to embarrass the buyer who gave neutral feedback. But, the main / real motivator is to rake in a lot of $ for his coins! I think the seller has embarrassed himself, rather than the buyer he makes reference to.

I can't wait to see the E-Bay fees from that one!!!!image
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

That's a pretty hefty final value fee the seller has to cough up, especially if the item goes to bidder 555 and he can't say the buyer didn't live up to the terms of the agreement image

I agree, the seller is 10-12, developmentally, a child.

  • That seller had a good number posts on the Set Registry forum a couple of months ago. If I recall he was a big buyer and seller of platinum eagles.

  • The seller will close out the auction early so there's no hassle with Ebay.
Too bad there isn't some way to crash his computer.

I don't understand the False Advertising feedback.

Does he think he didn't get a genuine death coin or is he afraid he won't be able to profit re-selling his death coin?
