In my opinion, someone way overpaid for that.

One of the few times he got the better of a local dealer on raw coins.
He showed it to me raw around 1990-1991 and I told him it was AU58 to MS63. It had good luster under deep jet blue toning but had the high point rub showing as an off white. Didn't like it. I sent it to NGC for him and they graded it 65. At that time they were still worth $2800 sight-unseen as a promotion of these was still going strong. Because the "sheet" said they were worth $3500 I balked and told my brother to wait for a better offer at $3000.
Those Columbians continued to drop like a stone once the promotion ended and within a year he bailed out at $1200. So much for my wisdom and market timing. NGC would never grade that coin any higher than a 64 today. And maybe only a 63.

also i think most of the value is in the case the leather pouch, the coin might not be original to the pouch
i see you also have a full money back guarantee if you do not like the item
might you return it?
sincerely michael
