The coin has tons of luster and flash. The gold is a brassy color.

    hey, hey

i saw this over at the registry forum. how'd it get over here?? i posted over there and asked if it was a 65, so i guess that should be my guess----MS65 with "sweetie points" for being such a pleasant coin to look at. as i asked in my other post, where's the old one you had, assuming this is an upgrade?

It is an PCGS MS67. Very flashy cartwheel type luster. The toning is a metallic brass color that looks better than the photo. It looks 100% original to me. Very good strike, but not the best you will see. The eye appeal, with the coin in hand, is superb. It is not dull at any angle of viewing, although there are a couple very tiny pin scratches that are well disguised by the toning, but have to be glassed to be seen. I like it. I got the coin from D. Lawrence coins.
Keets, the toning is not multi-colored, strictly brass-golden colored. Very clean looking too. mdwoods

Saving a life is far more important in my opinion. I like nice coins, but in the end they are nothing more than self-indulgence. They are important to preserve for historical purposes, and they can be truly gorgeous, but they are not alive like a person. mdwoods
