Christmas and New Years? Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are tough ones for me. I just finished preparing all kinds of food for tonight.I always have somewhere between 40 and 60 people here every year. Most are my wacky friends from the 60's.(what's left of them) talking about the good old days.If you know any people from that era they all have one thing in common and that is talking about what went on then.Once I get tonight all cleaned up I have to get everything ready for dinner tomorrow.Christmas day is just for family members.Believe me there are plenty of them. New years is just me and my wife.Generally we have a nice candle light dinner and a couple bottles of wine.I like to take this time to wish all the members a very merry Christmas and a very Happy New years.

wife is dragging me to her mother's house. BORING. Then we are going to my aunt's house. BORING.
I'd rather stay home and play with the kids mom, I mean the kids.

That sounds like where I work.
My plan for tonight is driving US Highway 101 North from Downtown LA for three hours to visit the folks. I think I'll treat myself to a Christmas Eve dinner at Dennys along the way.
I get off at 16:00 though for a nice dinner. We still have one more open spot at the table, but you have to bring cranberry sauce. The one thing we forgot to buy....
The present from my dad rattles, just like its full of coins!!! And I definately hear the swoosh of a plastic 20 peso bill he got on his trip to mexico. Guess my present won't be much of a surprise, but its wrapped nice. ;-)
Tomorrow its off to my Moms house for even more fun at 17:00 after work!!!

Ours was cancelled. The guys that plow the lot are overwhelmed right now, so nothing going on there (or at most churches around here) this evening or tonight. Still snowing out there too.

I'll be donning the red suit and ho, ho, ho-ing. My wife has to work and I have three kids still at home, so ....
At least someone else has the same of similar duties (Mr Kelso), but Mr K, you best rein Rudolph into that configuration or Santa may get lost.
Hey folks,
I hope you all have one of the best holiday seasons yet, and PTVETTER, I haven't forgotten the TRUE spirit either, may you and yours have a blessed event, too.
