eBay Problem. Just me, or Others?

I seem to be having a problem with eBay the last few days, where if I click on the thumbnail picture in an action, it won't enlarge. If I click a "supersize this picture option" it will. But, regular thumbnail's do not seem to be working. Is anyone else having this problem?

Have not had that problem but a couple of other gliches have popped up for me on Ebay. I just thought it was my computer problem. Went into a minor panic last night when trying to view auctions that were ending and everything remained the same after refreshing. Heck all I could see was auctions that had ended.

  • The thumbnails use Javascript to show a picture that has already been downloaded to your machine. Supersize invokes a link to another page. Have you disabled Javascript in your browser? (by the way, they both work fine for me.)

Let's say somehow I did disable javascript such as you suggest. How would I fix it? Now, I find that I can not send a PM either, and that the "preview" function on my posts doesn't work.

There, I have just exposed myself to the world as a computer bone-head.

click tools/internet options/security/custom scroll down and you should see a box checked with java disabled and just uncheck it.

I think the answer to enabling Javascript was answered by dog97. Interestingly, both PM and "preview" are Javascript links, too.

    Clank,

The Norton firewall is real picky too. It gave me plenty of grief until I installed a router with a built in firewall and did away with it.

  • Thanks you guys. (sigh) I did what Dog said to do, and my PM and preview functions are now working, but the thumbnails on eBay still aren't working. Any other ideas?

If it had been left up to me to advance technology, we would still be beating on drums to communicate.

Sorry to hear about the problem. I can't say I've experienced it. Let us know if you win anything
    juicy.

    mbbiker,

I thought the seller was undergrading that coin calling it a Fine. Looked like a solid VF to me.

Norton gave me fits and it was hard to get it set right since I didn't like the defaults in the privacy section. I just run CU wide open since there's not any bad cookies or code here but throttle eBay down enough to choke the dancing chickens.
