Please Flame This Quarter

I seriously thought about entering the fray on this one last night. The reverse looked absolutely tantalizing. Now, that I've missed it, make me feel better by saying it is AT, has an old harsh cleaning or something. I have to rationalize not buying this one and feel smart and lucky for passing it up.

PS: In looking for the coin to link, I see the coin did not sell. I'm feeling better already. I may have another chance at it so be sure to say nice things about the coin. [Sound wishy washy? That's where I was last night too.]

That was my overly dry humor. I guess I needed some ies in there. Anyway, compare it it this one:

Some holder, same grade but the 1882 only got up to about half what the 1949-D sold for. I guess that's because the 1882 is a pop three and the 1949-D is a pop 1?

USAF veteran, 1986-1996 :: support our troops - the American way.
Obverse partially cleaned with a Mitsumi Engineer's No. 3 1/2 eraser (these are expensive, $9.95 + tax).
Reverse toned by baking in a turnip with safflower oil margarine at 425 degrees for about 4 hours, then dipped in Borchelli Ultra Virgin olive oil heated to 200 degrees F for approximately 20 minutes with a trace amount of copper sulfide powder mixed with the olive oil.
Coin finally "treated" with Blue Ribbon Coin Conditioner and put on eBay.
The turnip looked better and tasted better than the coin.
Any additional flaming will require a rather large, paid-in-advance, consulting fee.
I hate it when you see my post before I can edit the spelling.
Always looking for nice type coins
