Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
1) whether certain coins were artificially toned,
2) whether modern coins were safe investments,
3) who has the biggest ego on the boards,
and a few other things.

Just do a search for any random thread

Is that like the DJ 3000 automated disc jockey computer system? It has three automatic idiotic banters/sayings:
1. What a bunch of clowns in Congress
2. How about that situation in the middle east?
3. I think our taxes are too high, we should lower them
I think some things are the eternal discussions, doomed to no resolution till the Return.

1. Toned coins
2. Seated Liberty (fill in the blank)
3. DCAM Kennedy and Franklin halves
4. The disparity in grading between NGC and PCGS
5. '50s doo wop
That should get you up to speed on the current interests.....

PS: Welcome back Big E!
I think the biggest event you missed was Rick Montgomery leaving PCGS to work for NGC.
David Hall ie"Homerunhall" has been on the board a little and will answer questions every tuesday. He said that there should be more coins graded 70 and what do you know there have been more coins graded 70. He spoke and it was done.
Shiro- Are you going to ask David Hall when the Phillipines will be on the registry set?
