You missed some threads about unique topics, such as

    1) whether certain coins were artificially toned,

    2) whether modern coins were safe investments,

    3) who has the biggest ego on the boards,

    and a few other things.

Is that like the DJ 3000 automated disc jockey computer system? It has three automatic idiotic banters/sayings:

Welcome back, it has been a while. I thought of that tilting tree the other day while looking at a 21 $1 in 4, and wondered what happened to you. I really got tired of not knowing how to fix my system, so I studied the forums and took the "build you own plunge" it's turned into a great hobby/pastime with a little profit(either $ or old systtems) from fixing others and having them insist on payment. Never figured I'd have a home network, workbench and a shelf of parts for those that need them. GO AMD!!!!!

    and welcome back

  • So big E...what do you think about....
    1. Toned coins
    2. Seated Liberty (fill in the blank)
    3. DCAM Kennedy and Franklin halves
    4. The disparity in grading between NGC and PCGS
    5. '50s doo wop

That should get you up to speed on the current interests.....

    Welcome back.

I think the biggest event you missed was Rick Montgomery leaving PCGS to work for NGC.

David Hall ie"Homerunhall" has been on the board a little and will answer questions every tuesday. He said that there should be more coins graded 70 and what do you know there have been more coins graded 70. He spoke and it was done.

Shiro- Are you going to ask David Hall when the Phillipines will be on the registry set?
  • shirohniichanshirohniichan Posts: 4,992 ✭✭✭
That's a great idea! We can move to the Kingdom of Hawaii next! More set registries for all! image

I won't be happy until there is a registry set for Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Those markets are really gonna be hot one day.
  • shirohniichanshirohniichan Posts: 4,992 ✭✭✭
I think I have a lock on the complete Inner Mongolian (under Japanese occupation) set! As soon as the set is added I'll submit my 1938 5 chiao in gem BU (MS-67 in PCGS-speak) and stay at the top!
