I was thinking about buying this SLQ:
1917, but I am not very familiar with the series. It looks to be a Type 1, but I have no clue on the grade or value, what do you all think the grade is, and how much is a fair price? Sorry, I only have a photo of the obverse.
THANKS!

The slq's are tough to grade.

Possibly cleaned (Looks artificially dull grey - tough to tell from that scan)
Approximate value $120 (uncleaned--lower if cleaned)

I would say AU-58 FH for a grade.
Thought you had a beautiful 1917 MS63FH. I recall you posting a pic on your grading challenge and most of us were fooled into 65/66. Still got it?

I still have that quarter, but it's a 1930. I don't think I have a type 1 at all, that's why I was interested in this one.

I hate it when you see my post before I can edit the spelling.
