The text for the slab book has now been completed and I am adjusting the final formatting. The final tally is 82 companies, 219 production varieties, 48 sample slab varieties, 37 Novelty slab varieties, 2 Presentation slab varieties, and 14 Body bags varieties. This makes a total of 320 varieties listed plus approximately 24 items in the Miscellaneous section. Any new varieties, companies, or new information turned up after today will have to be held for the second edition. There are still several varieties that I do not have pictures of though. I'm hoping that some of you here on the forum may have examples of these slabs in your collections. I'm trying to come as close as I can to having all of the slab varieties pictured as I can. I realize that it is unlikely that anyone has any of the missing slabs from the more obscure companies but hopefully some of you may have examples of missing slabs from the more common companies. (New pictures can be slipped in without affecting the formatting so they can be added up to the time of turning it over to the printer.) In the Production slabs I am missing these varieties with these identifying features:
Accugrade
ACG 9 San Francisco on back label
Distinctive Coin Grading Service
DCGS 1 No description. Company existed but quickly changed its name. Slabs for this name may not exist. Do not confuse with Digital Coin Grading Service that used same initials.

I've got a PCGS 8N2 Goodacre Presentation dollar in PCGS slab, barcode on the back in MS68. I can't scan or take pictures worth a d*mn, but will try if you want me to. I'd be willing to ship the coin to you for you to scan/pic it if you wish. Let me know through PM. I find what your doing extremely interesting and do hope I can get a copy of it once it is completed....
When they are printed, please let me know. I'll buy one.

I think DLRC has a flag-background shot of something... I can't check now, but will try to remember later.
Jeremy
Not sure which one that is... I think there were two varieties, one says "Goodacre Presentation" and one says "Goodacre" if I recall correctly.
Mine also has the (wrong) coin number 9584 on it, it's supposed to be 99584.
Let know if you want it scanned -- do you want the highest resolution possible, or?
I'm sure DLRC will get you an image of both sides if you state your intentions.

Yes please send me the scans to the profile address. I actually have a scan of the front of the #1 slab but I'll use whichever one turns out better.
Airplanenut yes the ICG 1N1 goodacre is easy (If fact so it easy it turns out I DO have that one so drop it from the list.) The various death slabs are not always so easy since for some reason when they are put up fo sale on ebay they often don't bother to scan the back of the slab since it is the fron that matters, and often the pictures are small. PCGS's aren't too hard but some of the others have been tough.
So to recap I've now got promises for
PCGS 6N3
PCGS 8N2
and I no longer need
ICG 1N1
That's three out of 24 items. Anyone else?

Yes that is the right IRI slab, and you are correct I think on MTB. I'll have to check tomorrow,
