? on Oregon Comms.

I know they were produced around 1936. What would be the price for a white one in MS-66. How difficult are they to find. They are really a cool coin. Would fit in my odds and ends set of Buffs. and future IHC.

  • They were produced starting in 1926. A nice example of the more commom dates (26, 26-s, 36... etc) can be had between $200 and $300 in 66. I wouldn't discount looking at 65's in this series. They are a very interesting series with mintages getting very low for the later coins in 38 and 39. I would recommend getting Bower's book on commemoratives and reading about them.

  • There are lots of white 37D and 38Ds floating around. You can get a decent MS67 for 500 - 800.
