Could it be a MS63DMPL, or is that an insult. Can't really judge the reflectivity of the fields, but it doesn't appear to have as the chatter one usually sees on mid-grade DMPLs, and maybe I've been too critical of the activity on Liberty's face. FROM THE SCAN, I would be surprised if it were graded higher than 64DMPL. Regardless, it appears to be a nice looking coin, with equal contrast on both sides.
It is MS. But as far as the actual number....I'm going to hold back on that a bit. The difference in value, once out of the 63 designation, is tremendous.....
Okay, so it's ABOVE 63 - and as soon as I get a chance, I'll try and post a real picture rather than scans - they are so injust when it comes to frost - pics tell a better story with the right light.
And the chatter in the face is a trick of the scanner, IMO. It isn't all that busy.
Family, kids, coins, sports (playing not watching), jet skiing, wakeboarding, Big Air....no one ever got hurt in the air....its the sudden stop that hurts. I hate Hurricane Sandy. I hate FEMA and i hate the blasted insurance companies.
Jeremy had it absolutely correct earlier.....of course, he knows a lot about computers and websites and searches and I think he cheated Same as Loki
It'll be sweet when I get it crossed - it's currently in an SEGS holder but I think it'll crossover to an ANACS slab- heck - I may even crack it out and send it to PCGS and see what they say (probably bodybag it for bein' too dang purdy)...but we shall see and when I find out, I'll let you guys know.
Thanks a bunch for the opinions -I thought it looked pretty nice meself

Seems lkke it should be that grade. I hope you can get it upgraded. Now by any chance was this a coin from the Redfield Hoard

the slab DOES indeed have the "DMPL" designation.
