For whom the bell tolls

As much as I hate quoting Earnest...I believe the bell tolls for Cointoast, as I've witnessed by the rather large volume of e-mails I've received lately in reference to my diatribe the other night....

It wasn't the first time (Nor the last probably) that I've done something "stupid" I've realized it sometimes takes the ire of others to know when one's totally stepped over the line and I did....

I apologize for the personal attacks that were made on any boardmembers....it was childish and just plain wrong.

As far as any other comments I made I will not apologize and stand by them 100%.

I had a good look in the mirror today and realized I didn't like what I saw..I would at least like to think that I'm man enough to step up to the plate and admit it when I'm wrong, and I was.

As for my punishment I will eat only plain toast for 30 days and refrain from buying coins for 3 hours, unless you have others you would like to recommend...

PS...... Adrian, thank you for your support....But what I did wrong.....

    The board members are generally as quick to forgive and forget as they are to anger. Each person is responsible for his own actions. You obviously know this. I'm sure all will be fine.

    I didn't say anything about the out burst the other day. I was surpised by it. Cointoast has always been a good forum member. Everything is ok now.

    That's the cointoast I remember.

    Plain toast seems a little harsh - I think it would be OK if you use margarine. [I know you are a butter person, so margarine is at least a little bit of a punishment. image ]

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

    cointoast - a good post by the toast who'd been aptly roasted. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and presume that you are sincere.

    I do think it should be plain toast for 3 hours, instead of 30 days, but no coins fior 30 days, rather than 3 hours.image
