  • At least the ebayer is satisfied with you even if he has no clue what is going on.

Are we thinking chemicals at this point? image Maybe he just dipped too many coins in a room with no ventilation.

  • Another reason why eBay should require a basic literacy test before they allow someone to sign up.

OK - here's what you do. Tell the guy that you sent the money back because his purchase came back marked "recepient moved/left no forwarding address" Tell him that you'll be glad to send him the coins he purchased if he'll send you the paypal payment back... Once you receive the payment, send any spare change you have in your pocket to him and sign the invoice

  • In all seriousness, I think what happened was that he probably paid you for an auction and mis-spelled your email address as the PayPal recipient. (what are the odds of him mis-spelling something? image )

Anyway, after it went unclaimed, PayPal sent him notification that his payment wasn't claimed and asked him if he wanted to cancel it. He misunderstood, and thought that email came from you and called you an honest person for not trying to collect from him twice.

Dan- this reminds me of the buyer I had that had multiple personalities and really confused me until one of his relatives finally helped clear things up and said he was in bad accident that messed up his mind. good luck. mikeimage
