Anaconda - You're not on the map!

As far as serious coin discussion, the longest posts I've seen in my 8 months on the board are in the neighborhood of 100. Though often these have degraded into a tit-for-tat flaming session.

  • K, My turn to show off.

Anyone here that was on the old boards remember my 1804 dollar post? 2500 views and how many hundreds of responses? I think it was in 2000. Some guy had an 1804 fake on eBay, but swore it was real. It made a great debate at first; then the seller himself showed up, along with some incredibly wierd art, and it was a party!

    hey adrian

if the open forum counts, do a search on "moon landing conspiracy" or something on that order. you'll know when you get the results cause i'm sure the replies are well over 1000. when i first joined someone posted that you weren't really a member till you posted to that thread, so of course i did. geez, it took me several minutes just to get to the last page.

Yeah, but it was a cheat thread to run up your post count. You might as well point to the thread in the test forum that ACGdealer TTTed 10,000 times.

The longest coin related thread is probably around 300 posts. I think the 9-11 Charity Quarter had a lot of posts, but I don't remember how many.

  • I posted a thread a few months back about Mike Casper's 1881-S PCGS MS69 Morgan that had well over a hundred replies; don't remember the exact count.

(And thanks for bringing my ZIP code thread to the top again, KlectorKid. I need to bask in my 15 minutes of fame for a few more minutes. image) (I guess that means I should finish updating the map.)
