Well, not really 
I purchased my first NGC slab!! A Draped Bust $1 [Small Bird] XF40. Beautiful toning, no adjustment marks, light cleaning, super eye appeal. I had been searching for one of these for almost a year and looked at what must have been hundreds. They all had some kind of problem. Upon seeing this one I knew I better act, I had passed on exclusively PCGS slabs and a dealer friend suggested I expand my horizons. I am glad I did otherwise I would never have seen this coin.
A while back someone mentioned the scarcity of decent coins in PCGS slabs and I am starting to believe it. Is everyone x-ing to NGC?
I am not going to cross this coin, not why I bought it, but I am going to start collecting NGC slabs as I don't want to limit myself any longer. Since NGC accepts other slabs in their registry so I may move everything over there. I just wish I was more openminded a year ago!
I know guys, buy the coin, not the slab.
