Mine is in 6 pieces, the sign of a true coin geek.
This book needs to be updated. Many of the scarce and rare(per Breen)coins are not so scarce or rare, and some have been found to be more scarce or rare than Breen believed.

<< <i>It's a nice book but remember that it's way out of date and newer references are needed to properly supplement it. >>
Cool i am ok with this. What i think i will do is Pencil in any updates and make notes on the pages as needed. I just can not put this book down. And
I can not get this big grin off of my fat face

Spent a few hours going through this work of wonder tonight . All i can say is WOW what a book. The 2nd to last page came out it was loose. Crappy binding for such a big book.

One the Title page, it was signed "Long Beach, CA... date, 1988, 1st Ed, Walter Breen". I just about freaked. The dealer saw me with both books and said that was odd because he was sure he only had one. He asked to take a look at it, saw the inscription and muttered something about his daughter sorting the inventory and mixing his personal books with those for sale. Pretty cool that he had a 1st edition with Breen's signature.
