Yes, the coin is minutely porous and I think it’s been recolored.
It really depends on what kind of Two Cent set you are putting together. The coin has enough “meat” (detail) on it to make it attractive in a circ set, but I think it might get a body bag from NCG and PCGS. ANACS might grade it AU sharpness, recolored, porous, net EF-40. That’s just an educated opinion.
