where did it go?

If i'm not totally losing my mind, there was a new member who posted a "confessions of a dealer" thread yesterday. It is gone now? why does this happen, anyone know?

You're right - the thread is gone, and so is the username. Someone must have deleted it from the database. What happened?

[edit: Thread is still there, but the posts from Moichido have been deleted]

Probably another member having fun and Carol or Charlie nailed them.

Everytime there is some really good stuff, it gets deleted image

  • That is weird. It's not like there was anything in his posts that hadn't seen the light of day on the forum before. From what I just saw though, all his posts are not just edited, but gone. What's up with that? That actually holds more mystery to me than any confessions of a coin dealer... hmmmm.

Sounds like to me it was another bogus ID, i.e a forum member with another ID and he/she got busted.
  • If that was the case, then blow it up. I totally support eliminating dual ID's.

  • Clank, you are so right. I'm glad to see that CU is taking some steps to ferret out the dual identities and do away with them!

But his first post was so enlightening. Was he THAT good?? I hope it is some sort of mistake.

  • Tom--
I'm not trying to stir anything up here, but... was his first post really that enlightening? Have you really never heard those things said before? I thought he thought he was imparting state secrets or something. IMO it's been said before. But, when it comes down to it, there isn't much that hasn't been.

Well, maybe not SO enlightening, but it was good to be put in words as he did.

It was rather well articulated, but nothing new. It was probably a current modern dealer who registered a new handle so they could say what they really think.image
