STEVE ESTES P.N. ???

Has anyone had any dealings with Steve Estes P.N.? I am thinking of purchasing a few raw lincolns and was wondering how his grading assesments stack up. As always any comments are greatly appreciated.

  • I've known Steve personally for many years and he has the utmost integrity. I highlyd oubt that you should have any problem returning any coin that you might not be completely satisfied with. Steve tries to handle only PQ coins.

abuell are you from Portland, OR ?

To answer the question. When collecting in the 80's I had the pleasure of knowing and buying coins from Steve when he still had his coin shop. Had No Problems with him at all. He is one of the 2 dealers I really trusted in the Portland area. I presume he has not changed.

Edit to add: If I remember correctly he specialized in Indians, Lincolns and Buffalo Nickles.

I've purchased a few coins from Steve Estes, all very nice coins. I did have to return a couple of raw offerings, but the returns were absolutely no problem. I would recommend this dealer.

It's probably been more than a year, but I've purchased both raw and certified from Steve. He and his wife are quite pleasant to deal with and I have no complaints. Doing business with the Estes demonstrated to me that one CAN successfully buy coins through the mail. I would recommend.
