The Best Coin ever minted!!!! Results!!!

LucyBopLucyBop Posts: 14,001 ✭✭✭
Out of all the coins ever minted, I am proud to say the DCAM Frankies eeeked out a win. Thanks to all who participated in this fine survey which should settle this arguement once and for all! Maybe Coinworld or any other mag might want to post the results of this fair and scientific survey as well.

Wow, maybe with the results you could petition congress/mint to bring back Franklin halves -

Or get some lawyer from the coin forum to help bring back the Franklin because of the law they broke to cut short the Franklin series -

Or maybe a Franklin state series, where each state decides what Franklin is best known for in their state -

Say, is it Franklins profile that you love most, or the bell and small eagle on the reverse?

How can you not be impressed with a founding father who numbers among his most famous essays one entitled "Fart Proudly" image

Did any of you guys see the documentary about Franklin that just ran on PBS? He was a flat-out amazing human being. Accomplished more than ten men times ten lifetimes. Scientist, inventor, politician, tradesman, diplomat, publisher, author. He was a genius in the truest sense of the word. The way he handled the French alone cemented his place in history before even considering his manifold other achievements.

PS: He was also the only founding father whose signature was on all three documents that created this country; The Declaration Of Independence, the peace treaty with England and The Constitution.

Or maybe a Franklin state series, where each state decides what Franklin is best known for in their state

Well, the state of Tennessee was known as Franklin before statehood when it was part of the TN Valley territory. But the state eventually became known as Tennessee, which is believed to be derived from a placename in Cherokee called Tanasi.

Neil in TN, world famous for Davy Crockett, Sam Houston, Andrew Jackson, and other great people who kicked peoples' rear ends!
