How many current proof/uncirc sets a year?

How much of the current mint issue proofs and uncirculated offerings are you buying each year, just one set, five, whats enough. Can you have the entire "panel" from the mint slabbed? Just curious.

I usually get 5 or 6.
I save 3 that will go to my girls.The others are for gifts.

I buy two of all the sets. One is saved and the other is opened. PCGS will take the whole set and slab each coin. They will deal with opening the mint package but you have to slab all the coins.

I've been getting at least 2 sets of each since the state quarter program began. I've cut a few of the mint sets up to send to PCGS but the rest are intact.

I usually only buy 1 of each type. Mostly so I can have a set. I have to admit that the state quarter series was a spark re-interesting me back into the hobby. Before that, I was very occassional after I got out of collecting at 16 and started working about 25 hours a week. I worked before, but only about 10 hours a week.

I only buy one new silver set a year and BU state quarters. the rest of my collection is classic type coins and I'm lucky to afford VF in them

I get one of each set (mint set, clad proof set and silver proof set.)

I buy 6 proofs and 6 uncirculated.Generally 5 out of 6 unc. go back to the mint and I end up with one. These are just state .25. As for others:SBA pr. 4 a month and ASE 2 a month.

I buy 5, make some quarters and keep the best two. The rest go to the nice people on eBay
