I commend him for his honesty, however, if this coin pic looks better than the coin in person, I would have to assume that all of his coins pics are that way as well. Has anyone ever bought coins from him and if so were the pics accurate?

To subscribe, just click the icon that looks like a sheet of paper with the black arrow pointing left. It's the one furthest to the left in the icon group in the upper right of each message. It's not necessary to reply in a thread to subscribe.

In the initial thread on this coin I brought up the subject wondering if the pictures were enhanced. I believe it was clankeye who said he had purchased a coin from this seller and the picture was a good representation of the coin he bought.

Yes, I purchased a very colorful washington quarter from the seller. From that ONE transaction this is what I believe: he used very intense lighting to get every ounce of color out of the coin. But, all the colors represented are there. The coin was a tad less vibrant than the picture. But not in anyway that made me feel it was a manipulation, or that the coin had been misrepresented. I like the coin.

I have bought several coins from this seller and have been happy with most. A coulpe have been a little less bright than the photo but all of the colors were as represented.
