How can I tell if it's die polish or if it's a cleaned area?

Well it ain't cleaning marks if a pop 31. I don't know about pop reports, so I'll go with 65.

Die polish straitions look a lot like cleaning lines until you've seen enough of them. Usually very shiny, numerous in a patch, and parallel...do not go into the devices...and if you have a strong enough loupe or microscope, you'll see they're raised and not "cut" into the coin.

It looks like lightly streaked toning on the reverse. Id say the coin is 64, based on your pop figures. Its pretty hard to tell from the photos tho.,

Looks to rough to be die polish but it could be im no expert, im a sponge. ill guess MS-65 if it graded that than it probably is die polish.

She's a PCGS 64....and a nice one. I believe it is die polish as well but will have to take her in for a checkup at my earliest convenience. I'll report back here what I find.
