    Two stateside tours - Eglin AFB, FL and the Pentagon
    Five overseas - Tunisia, Germany, Chad, Zaire, and Brazil

    Still serving today as a Dept. of the Army Civilian in Brazil

  • USAF ESC 20850. 1977-1981 active, then 81-88 active reserves. Also, retired from DoD in 94 (No Such Agency)
  • 22 years Navy (not counting 4 years at Annapolis) and still at it. It's getting pretty old though. Would retire next year, but the economy sucks so bad...who knows...

    1Yr Lackland AFB, San Antonio (Basic + Tech school)
    2Yrs Norton AFB, San Bernadino, CA
    1Yr Incirlik AB, Turkey

    I didn't see any combat during my 4 yr hitch (Jimmy Carter Era) but I did get to see the Iranian hostages fly over Incirlik on their way home after 444 days in captivity. image

  • USAF 1971 - 1991. Rescue helicopter pilot (instructor pilot and flight examiner) and T-37/T-38 instructor pilot instructing US and foreign students including the Crown Prince of Iran. Served in SCA, MAC, HQ ATC and the last 6 years in various Pentagon jobs at HQ USAF and DoD. Following my wife's second kidney transplant I turned down a promotion to Colonel and retired to serve my wife who needed me more than the USAF.

    Jan 1990 - still serving SFC (army recruiter)

    I got drafted 32 years ago on June 3, 1970..... Figure I only have 8 more years and I'm done!!!! .... Funny thing is, the "all volunteer" Army has "STOP LOSS" on now and I couldn't get out even if I wanted to leave!!!!
