To bid or not to bid. . .

Can anyone think of any reason why I shouldn't bid on this coin? I have an itchy mouse finger. image

I've had great transactions with people like: drwstr123, CCC2010, AlanLastufka, Type2, Justlooking, zas107, StrikeOutXXX, 10point, 66Tbird, and many more!

I'm not sure - I haven't seen many raw gold pieces that would grade "at least MS69" - I think the reserve price is a trick and the reserve=the opening bid

I would probably stay away from that coin, being from Anthens,Greece and all ..... unless you were that new bidder on ebay ->this_auction_ia_a_hoax

who has been having bad luck, both auctions they have bid on have been ended early by ebayimage

Because it's really an MS71 and under valued.

I think I'd be more tempted if it had some sort of die crack. How about a "halo" Liberty? A "weeping" Liberty? For now I think I'll just save my pennies for another day! image

Oh, yea. I forgot that I was in the U.S. forum. I'll save my "cents" for another day. Much better. . .

A very nice coin and I would not mind owning it but I would say it falls in the AU55 catagory. mikeimage
  • agree with darktone - too much going on in the fields and on the face area to be MS
