JT Stanton has sold Stanton Books and Supplies. Kyle Vick of Atlanta has bought the inventory, the web site, and the use of the name.

I've known Kyle for several years, and I am confident that he'll continue to give very good service.
Update of webiste:
Also, we've got a new web site in the works that should be far better than any site out there right now. We got one of the best shopping carts available, and we've got someone building it that knows what he's doing, plus knows coins. I'll also be very active with that as well. Quite frankly, I'm very excited about the new site. It should be up and running in December. I wish we could have gotten it done sooner, but we'll take what we can get.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
It's interfering with his true love; writing and publishing.

I'm glad it wasn't for health reasons. I hope the new owner continues to stock the wide variety of books and supplies. JTs service was outstanding, also.
I ordered the Cherrypickers' Guide from JT well in advance of the ship date, and later got an email saying it shipped. Three weeks later, no book. I email JT, he confirms it shipped, must have gotten lost, and will ship me another one. I get another email saying the replacement copy shipped. Three weeks later, no book. I was concerned that he would think I was trying some type of scam when I told him the second one never showed up, but he just said he'd ship me a third one via FedEx (so it could be traced if necessary). I promised I'd return the other two when they eventually arrived, but they never did. Hopefully they went back to Stanton's.

No, it means a more secure future for the guide. He'll be devoting more time to it.
