An update on my paper- publishing and the like

Ok... I thought you would like to hear this/have some advice for me
I did submit my paper to the Numismatist, but the topic was too broad for them to publish it- they did request my permission to enter it in the YN literary competition in June... of course I said yes.
I also sent the education director of the ANA, Gail Baker, my poem and paper- the poem will be in Your Newsletter (YN) and my paper will be a multi-part series in YN. She also mentioned a plug Cameron gave me for a scholarship- she suggested I apply for the summer seminar ...
I also sent my paper to the librarians who made my paper possible and they loved it- they even offered to write my recommendation for a scholarship I have to talk about this with my parents, but I hope they let me go!!! They're taking me out to dinner (for no real reason), so they are going to hear LOTS about the program
As per Cameron's suggestion, I will submit to the PCGS contest coming up in a few months... big cash prizes (for college, though... not coins ... what a paradox!)
If anyone knows of some other publications I could try for my paper, I would love to hear suggestions- I want to be famous (alright, I'm kind of a shy person, but regardless ) All suggestions, local or national or international, are welcome- and I don't care about the money... being published would make me much happier than getting paid for the article (how often does a teen say THAT?)

Don't try, even within the coin hobby. Do the best you can and things happen - trying to be famous makes people think you are stuck up (you are not). I was lucky enough to win 3rd place in 1999 PCGS essay contest and the joy of having a published work (online at pcgs.com) was alot better than the money. I saved the money for the first semester of college. It really helped.
Tell you parents about the ANA scholarship and print out a few pages of what it entails from the ANA website. Take your time within the hobby and don't rush. There are so many opportunities out there.
