    KK, it was listed as AU on eBay.

    Goose3, I was just looking to see what was around for 1854 and this one looked good.

    The reverse looks pretty nice (AU50, easily) Its kinda tough to tell on the obverse due to the darker toning, still a beauty of a coin image

    It's a little darker there and the neckline isn't visible on that side.

    O Senhor,

    From what I can tell, it looks to me like an original, problem-free coin. If it has some mint luster left, an AU grade would appear to be reasonable. Otherwise a high-end XF in my book (you need luster for an AU these days). Problem-free no-motto seated coinage is hard to find.

    Nice coin. I will like to have that in my collection but i guess i am too greedy now. LOL. Nice coin. Are you working on Type set of USA coin. I guess it to be real fit for USA type set. I will agree that the coin grade is XF.

    ok, i know i'm a wet blanket, but that coin looks a bit off in the digipic. is it nicer in person? i'd have bid on it as xf minus.
