Eagle shield lines and tail feathers look weak as do arrows feathers. Stars on obverse look worn. Definitely cleaned,.

terrible digipic, looks like ms-63+, which may be intended deception. does not look cleaned to me. my experience: 1916-d is a very common date in high grade.

LM bought one of those just the other day a nice pcgs ms64 for under $300.
The neck looks like some of the surface layer has been peeled away and maybe a scratch on the neck as well.

I thought it might grade around MS-64 but after hearing your opinions (and I must admit - something looked a little fakey to me,too), I think I'm going to pass.

Although- --there is a 15 day return policy...hmmm

I guess I'm still thinking about it....

i'd say get it w/ the 15 day return policy, that's basically sight-seen.

There's nothing I can put my finger on to prove it's been cleaned, IAW provided pict, hairlines would be 100% enough in my book but it does look too shiny, it looks like it has wear, and the color is funky. Be on your toes on this deal!
