It is an 1899 Russian 10 Ruble Gold coin - a nice large one. It's up on E-bay now.

Well - the Russian coin with the edge lettering was easy - low lighting, black background, stand it on edgeand take the pic. The other one - I'll let you guess.....

looks like the morgan was on a clear tripod stand, that was photoshopped out afterwards, causing the red "flare" below the coin.
