Who is going to Baltimore? I need to ask a favor.

I am thinking of bidding on a high end MS Liberty Nickel. It would be helpful if someone who knows this series (and the difference between typical PCGS and NGC grading of these coins) and will be there on November 4th, could look at the lot & give me an evaluation.

I think November 4th is the first viewing day for this auction, but it the last day for sending in Internet bids. Please send a PM if you can help & I'll provide more details.

Muito Obrigado

Elcontador, I'd be happy to look for you (I'll be looking on Wed. Nov. 6) - let me know by PM if you'd like me to and, if so, how to get a hold of you afterwards.

    Thanks, Don.

Here's the deal. Lot 1071 is a 1905 Liberty Nickel in MS 66, in an NGC holder. I am wondering, how nice is this coin? Some NGC material is as good as PCGS material, though in this grade, the PCGS material goes for a substantial premium. It's all eye appeal at this level; issues like strike, aren't critical. Are you familiar with the "bill of particulars" re this series?

Any help you can provide is much appreciated.

    Muito obrigado,

    Jeff
