It's the one I originally posted about in this thread. I said it was a solid 68 and PCGS agreed with me!image

And, I came so so close to 100% bingos this time on what I thought the grades would be. The only one I have different in my notes is line #3, and I thought it would be a 66.image

    merz2,

I'm getting good at proof Kennedy's, but that's only because I blew it really bad on my first few submissions and learned the hard way.image

not to call anything into question, but there's really no way to know for sure which of the ah's is which since they were all on the same "line" of the submission. as an example, you may have thought one of them would grade 65 and it got 67. maybe a moot point and not to be critical since i believe you know what you're doing. it's more a criticism of the way the order form is. it precludes us from making multiple same coin submissions such as this with assurance of what our grade for any specific coin is.

Nope, Keets, they aren't on the same line. They are on seperate lines on the invoice, and submission results appear in precisely the same order as the invoice.

Good shot Russ. If the coin looks as good as the pic, it deserved a 68. It is a beauty.

BTW - I have 2 irridescents (red, green, yellow) in my next submission. I'll post a pic as soon as I can figure out how to make the camera see the toning.

Since I know very little about Jeffs, what kind of value does it have?
  • RussRuss Posts: 48,514 ✭✭✭
    Mike,

I don't know diddly about Jefferson's either, but I don't think it has much premium over a non-toned PR68. Probably worth just a few bucks more than the slabbing fee.

Just don't leave it out in the car, you saw what happened to mine... I sent a nice toned Kennedy with my last order, waiting to see what they do with it.image

  • Outstanding invoice, Russ! Looks good - all of it.

The Jeff is a real find, and a GREAT grade for the type. Well done!

When you get all your grades right, is that grade sniping? image
  • Pretty coin, and a great subbmission with those AH JFK's to.

You're right Russ! I got a Jackson on it's way to you in the mail. image
    ahhhh....... SODO MELVIN?????
  • That is a beautiful coin and should warrant a healthy premium over the typical PR68, IMO of course.
