Clankeye, who has busted nobody in the chops, has made a cameo appearance, so there must be much more to "getting in" than making a negative statement. I think there must be different criteria for this special designation. image

It primarily has to do with good looks and sex appeal.

Hopefully, Clankeye will provide the answer. At the rate his episodes are gaining in popularity, anyone who has even a minor role, will probably be coveted by the Hollywood folks before too long. image
  • By morphing into a parrot, hamster, Angel, Devil, US Marshall, Elvis, Pirate, Santa, Elf, sex-kitten, drill sargeant, drunken school marm, juvenile deliquent, or a certified instructor of Scientology. No numismatic skills necessary.

RegistryCoin-- thank you for noting that I've "busted nobody in the chops." I keep waiting for someone to land a good one on me one of these days. One thing about the class thread thing, it is not intended to hold people up to serious ridicule, and I hope it is taken that way. It's satire. And if it turned hurtful, I would stop.

Clankeye - "It's satire. And if it turned hurtful, I would stop".

If I'm not included in the next episode I might feel deeply hurt.imageimage
  • Well, here's a true thing, Mark. I basically look at who responds to the thread from week to week just see who is "volunteering" for the next one.

You're welcome. Your efforts, Clankeye, are, without a doubt, most appreciated - a ray of sunshine to enlighten ourselves, in our otherwise dark and faceless internet discourse. Have no fear - It is a good thing!
ps. Funnier than heck, too! image

airplanenut, not only are you "Clank's number one juvenile delinquent", but also, his only one. image
I think you have a lock on your role - I'm jealous.
  • Clankeye-

Yeah, no doubt Mondays can be rough sometimes. If the Class gave you some amusement this week then I am glad. The personalities around here are great (the real board). Even when the fur is flyin', the babies cryin', and The Bear sighin'... it's worth the price of admission.

Buckaroos, the bear is retiring as the central narrator, to allow other poor souls

to serve in that capacity in future Classroom Tales.

These stories are about people, not some of the people of the Forum,

but all of the people of the Forum. The good, the bad and the ugly.

Old Clank has promised to besmerch you all, in good time. But rest assured, Marshall Bear will still

be keeping the peace around this here Dodge City Forum. While yelling, screaming , flaming and

groin kicks might give enjoyment to some,...... Knowledge, happiness and friendship seem

to be the wish and desire of most of us on this Forum. So lets try to hold back a bit

on those cyber bullets and blunt truths. Bluntness might not be as fatal as

blunt trauma, but it is as painful to the psyche and the soul as a kick in the head.

Have a good week all , Marshall Bear

the threads have always come across to me as a little parody of the weeks antics with an emphasis on what takes place on the weekend previous, unless of course something of noteriety takes place during the week. it seems some but not all of the characters are fitted into very specific roles, the rest merely making "cameo" appearances. hence, it is a legitimate U.S. Coin Forum topic!!!!

Ms. Coinbroad it would seem is our beloved carolj, high priestess at PCGS. bear, well he seems to be rather schizoid, you can never tell who might show up. the devil seems to be the incarnate "bad boy" of the week, whether it's KinCoin or anaconda. the rest of us, well, we just show up and chant..........
