Time Warp-Coins that were worth more THEN than NOW!!

BigEBigE Posts: 6,949 ✭✭✭
Today someone gave me a coin pocket guide from 1964 that lists a circulated 1950-D Jeff at 10.50. I think this is more than they are worth now. Do you know of any US coins that are worth more then than now??????????????????---------------BigE

    1898-O, 1903-O, 1904-O Morgans

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

    And the CC Morgans.

    1) A choice Gem 50-D nickel would set you back more than $20 if it had full steps.
    2) BU rolls of 55-S cents were over $50
    3) BU rolls of 55 P, D or S dimes were also far more expensive than they
    are now.
    4) Someone already mentioned the 1903 O Morgan.
    "Vou invadir o Nordeste,
    "Seu cabra da peste,
    "Sou Mangueira......."

This is a Dell book, the REVISED image 1964 Edition, it says 1904-O 1.65, 1903-0 1.65 and 1898-O 1.65. the 89-CC is 22.00 and the rest of the CC's between 7 and 2.00. Sorry Elcontador, no BU Roll prices here in this book-----------------BigE
