THE 1902 PROOF SET PICTURES INCLUDED

Ok I went out and checked it out . What it consists of are 6 coins from the 1$ to 1c no gold in this one. But this with out any question is something special. They are graded by NGC so you know the grades are correct. Here what they grade..

Morgan PF63 there is nice tone on this on the obv on the left side
Barber 50c PF63 Nice coin
Barber 25c PF60 dont know why this is graded no tone and it looks like a very nice coin
Barber 10c PF66 AWSOME AWSOME TONE on this On rev and obv
Liberty V 5c PF63 nice coin
Indian 1c PF63 Awsome coin

Also if you havent figured it out these are all slabbed coins and they do not come in 1 single set.

I have pictures you will have to forgive the glare I had a heck of a time due to the over head lights and the desplay cabnit lightning.

Also if you are interested in this let me know I have a selling price of this, and the price he is willing to sell it to me for. just email me..

Thanks for the pix, Byron, I enjoyed looking at them. Better grab that dime for yourself! image
  • Thats pretty cool.

It's not often that you see a 100 year old completed proof set.

I would probably want to eventually upgrade the quarter to keep the technical aspects of the coins closer together, keeping the coins graded from PR63 to PR66 would be better matched.
  • I agree with the upgrading of the quarter im going to guess it go the grade it got partly because its tone has gone into a brown gray look. Not what I like to see when I look at toned coins.

There are really two levels for early Proof sets. Level one is the assembled sets where the coins are come from different sources. Level two are the original sets, which are coins that have been together since they were issued. The only way to really tell the difference is that the silver in the original sets will have identical toning. Orginal sets bring far more than assembled sets even if the unmatched coins in the assembed sets have higher grades.

I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
