OT so you know this guy in Richmond who got arrested.....

The Exon station where he got popped is about 2 mins from me.
But if the TV people raised their cameras about an inch you would see THE POLICE STATION.He makes the call 1 block away from the police station.

  • They're downplaying it right now.I will say that Henrico County has one of the best police dept's in Va.Very profesional.
  • They always say something clever like... "It's not known if this is related..."

As though we wouldn't figure it out or something.
5,000 agents swarm all over some schmuck in a minivan - and we're supposed to believe it's a routine traffic stop I guess.

Should be interesting to find out the details though.

I'm sure the police have leaked out misleading info to keep the press from blowing the police's leads. If possible, the press would have a camera for the actual shooting and one for the police response.
  • Based on how things happened I think the guy gave up, he was not captured.

Apparently he lastest message indicated he wanted to surrender. Hence he was waiting at phone booth.

Sadly, he will now plead insanity and be given country club priveledges somewhere at taxpayer expense. I was hoping he would do himself in when cornered.

Oh well, at least he is captured and we can return to normalcy.

Almost forgot, I am against the death penalty but this case begs for it, insane or not.

There is a rumour floating around that a well known French sniper came into the US via Canada and that the fool doing the shooting in DC could be him.

My big question is with the part about a well known french sniper? I thought those frenchies didn't like loud noisesimage

Generally the cops don't hang around the station (not too much crime there) and are out patroling the beats.
Now, if there had been a Winchells one block away. . .

    I don't think they caught the "sniper"image
Just some people in a van that seemed a possibility.

The two individuals that were taken into custody have been cleared... no connection. Cheers, RickO
